Friday, Sept. 3rd
(doors open at 5PM)
Main session with Pastor Peter Mihent.
We dive into the challenges facing the Christian Family today and answer the question: „How can the Christian Family be re-anchored?”.*
Children will have their own special program.
The session is followed by fellowship and refreshments.
Saturday, Sept. 4th

Morning workshop session.
Pastor Mihent will lead a practical workshop especially for couples. Couples wishing to get married are strongly encouraged to attend.
We will provide pastries, coffee and refreshments.
Children will have a full day of fun activities and lessons that will teach them to strengthen the bond in the family.

The morning session is followed by a catered lunch and activities for the whole family.

An open, interactive discussion where the audience will have the chance to ask questions.

About the Conference
In the age of unprecedented speed, we are more connected than ever, yet our lives are more and more fragmented and our families disconnected. How can we see God’s miracles in this environment? We need to stop running around and see how God is working in our families. Emanuel Church invites you to make this stop and re-anchor ourselves in The Word, in communion and in Christ’s love.
Anchored Family Conference was born out of the desire and vision of the families from Emanuel Church of God in Anaheim, California to re-anchor ourselves in the midst of the challenges confronting the Christian family in this age. Our prayer is that any family, or single parent, in whatever stage they may be in their journey, will find God’s purpose for their lives and anchor themselves in Christ.
Speaker Bio
Peter Mihent has been serving families as a pastor of Bet Adonai Church and as a psychotherapist. He is a recognized internationally as an authority on Christian psychotherapy, family counseling and pastoral theology, three strands which he has intertwined in this unique ministry. He lives in Oradea with his wife Lidia Mihent and the three children with whom the Lord has blessed them.
Special Kids Program
The children will have a special program on Friday and Saturday, full of fun activities and lessons that will teach them to strengthen the bond in the family.
